Love the application but being able to have numerical study option would be great(instead of just alphabetical and shuffle).. And instead of categories study being able to pick what you want to study out of all categories would be a nice feature.

Very full featured and an excellent learning tool. Great if you are traveling!!

I could only write a review on the previous versions...I love this program! It is easy to use and does a great job with the flashcards and spaced repetitions. They have added more verbs and are working on expanding the vocabulary. The only feature that it needs to make it perfect is to be able to add in your own lists as you continue studying or find a word in your readings that you want to memorize. But I have been told they are looking into adding this feature too.

Is the better than others

Only has a few words. Dont get it if you want to learn fluent italian

I am not getting any audio, kind of difficult to learn when you cant hear how the words are pronounced.

Heading to Italy soon and this app was an easy way to catch up on my Italian! Nice job!

There are only about a dozen words on the free app, so dont bother.

Im not getting any audio on my ipod touch. I might buy the full version if only the audio worked, since I have a trip to Italy coming up.

Only one word at a time...no way to choose among many and all very comon words....at least its free but very unhelpful if youre serious about learning the language.

This is great! It has a translator, helps u study and its free. This app help me so much on my Italian home work. The only thing this app needs is a person that speaks out what I typed in the translator so I know how to pronaonce the word in Italian

The name of this app and all other language apps needs to transport into Apple products with the name of the language visible in the device. If you have more than one all you see is "Essentials" and you do not know which language the app is for

Incredibly helpful if you want a free taste of the very basics! This app has helped me memorize words and has inspired me to get even more serious in learning to speak Italian! SUGGESTION: include a feature, like spaced repetition, but without the need to continually tap the screen to advance words. I love listening and repeating the words while driving, albeit a dangerous distraction having to look down to let the app know I got the word correct and move on. Something like a 3 to 5 sec pause after the phonetic transcription, advancing automatically thereafter. Keep up the good work!
